Simon is going to be 3 months old next Monday, which is hard for me to believe. He has already changed so much--going from a helpless, little newborn to my big, hefty baby that weighs a ton and can now hold his head steady, roll over, and "talk" with us. At his 2 month old check-up last month, the doctor determined he had torticollis (unevenly developed neck muscles) and moderate to severe plagiocephaly (misshapen head). So, we have now started physical therapy with Simon and he goes once a week to Dynamic PT. We are working hard on having him change positions frequently, and he is now tortured several times a day with "tummy time" which he despises. Other than that, he is doing well with lots of smiles for us, decreased colic spells (THANK HEAVENS!), and a first laugh yesterday when Daddy was doing fake sneezes for him (Lewis seemed to find this hilarious as a baby as well).
Lewis is doing great! He started at a new in-home daycare at the end of August, which he seems to really enjoy. In fact, the other week he ran over to Miss Paula and gave her a huge hug. And he doesn't even notice when I leave in the mornings. So, I take that as a good sign he is enjoying it there. He loves imaginary play and has several games for us to play--"chicken nuggets", repair shop, picnics, Swiper the fox, birthday parties for his cars, fishing and boating, etc. He has been doing great at staying in his bed at night. He woke up a little after 5 am today, which normally would mean I would be putting him back to bed 15 times until our official wake-up time of 6 am. However, he didn't get out of bed until 6:30 am. Hooray, Lewis!
JB has been busy with his photography business, with a lot of commercial jobs and weddings in the past month. I just started back at work part-time after Labor Day and am adjusting to being away from Simon. So, life is good right now!
Here are a couple of pictures of the kids!

My cute little baby boy!!!!

I can't believe Simon is rolling. I'm thinking Brooklyn might be delayed at this point, because she is definitely not a roller.
